Actress Parineeti Chopra recently visited the sets of celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6and was so impressed with singer Shaan's performance that she expressed the desire to romance him on the big screen.

The actress, who was here with her Shuddh Desi Romance co-star Sushant Singh Rajput to promote the film, enjoyed Shaan's performance on the song Ae kya bolti tu. 

"Singer toh tum ho hi, dancer ab ban gaye ho aur is act mein toh tapori ki acting bhi karli (You are already a singer, now you have become a dancer, and in this performance you have even acted). I'm going to romance you in the sequel of Shuddh Desi Romance now," Parineeti said.

To which, Shaan, who was dressed as a tapori, said: "Oh that's so kind...I thought mujhe chacha ka role milega (I thought I will get the role of an uncle)."

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, a weekend show, sees actress Madhuri Dixit, choreographer Remo D'Souza and filmmaker Karan Johar in the judges' panel.

The Telugu dubbing work for Superstar Rajinikanth’s graphics extravaganza, ‘Kochadaiyaan’, has started. The movie will be released as ‘Vikrama Simha’ in Telugu and the makers are targeting the festival of Deepavali for release. Rajinikanth has a superb following in Andhra Pradesh as well and the makers are looking to cash in on that. 
Deepika Padukone is the heroine of the film. Other senior actors like Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Shobana, Jackie Shroff and Nassar will be seen in crucial roles. The film has a lot of VFX work and internationally renowned technicians are working on the effects. The stereoscopic team of Avatar has worked on the film.  
Rajiv Menon is handling the cinematography and A R Rahman has composed the music.

The South influx into Bollywood has gathered momentum. After Dhanush's successful Hindi debut in Aanand Rai's Raanjhanaaand Ramcharan's Zanjeer that opens in September, it would be the turn of Ramcharan's nearest rival in Hyderabad, Ravi Teja.

Ravi Teja would debut in a double role in Samir Karnik's Kaur & Singh. The film would be an action-comedy (Ravi Teja's forte) in Hindi and Telugu. The Telugu version of the film would be entitledLaxmi Reddy.

Confirming these developments, director Samir Karnik says, "Ravi has done a very successful double role in Vikramarkudu, the Telugu version of Rowdy Rathore. We wanted to take his image to another level."

While Karnik refuses to reveal any more, we gather that Ravi Teja plays two brothers in Kaur & Singh. One of them is a con-man who constantly gets the good brother into trouble.

Says Karnik, "I promise you, Ravi Teja will be a riot in my film."

Kamal Hassan’s next flick Uththama Villain, directed by Ramesh Aravind and produced by Linguswamy is expected to start rolling from next month.

The crew was in frantic search of the apt heroine for the film. Initially Kajal Aggarwal was approached but she could not accommodate the film in her calendar and hence backed off.

So the crew zeroed in on Asin as their choice and the actress was readily willing to accept the offer.

This is the second time the actress is paired opposite Ulaganayagan after Dasavatharam.

Uththama Villain' has the screenplay and dialogues by Crazy Mohan. Kamal is currently busy with 'Vishwaroopam 2' and is rushing up with the post production work, as he wishes to get 'Uththama Villain' on the floors once 'Vishwaroopam' sequel is completely done with.

Manchu Manoj starrer Potugadu movie audio was released on Sunday night.  First CD was given to the famous Music Director Keeravani by Mohan Babu.  The music was scored for the movie by Achu.
On this occasion Mohan Babu said that the audience is his God and as long as the blessings are bestowed upon the artists by the audience, art will not die.  Dasari Narayana Rao said that the audience needs this type of movies. He predicted that the movie Potugadu will be another good movie for Manoj.  He also said that the success and failure of movie in fact cannot be predicted but the way it hit success in Kannada under the direction of Pawan Vadayar who is also directing the Telugu remake, it can be well reckoned that it will hit the box office in Telugu too.  He revealed the genre of the movie as commercial entertainer .
Mohan Babu and Manoj acted in the main roles of the movie Potugadu in which Simran Kaur Mundi, Sakshi Chowdhery, Rachel and others supported them.  The producers of the movie are Lagadapati Sirisha and Sridhar.  Director Pawan said on the occasion that the Telugu movie Potugadu shaped out very well and better than that of its original Kannada movie ‘Govindaya Namaha’.

Mumbai: Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has clarified that there is "no truth" to rumours that actress Aishwarya Rai has been roped in for an item song in his under production project 'Ram Leela'.
The rumours made people wonder if Aishwarya, the much-missed diva would dance her way back to the screen after her self-imposed sabbatical in favour of motherhood. However, the filmmaker, who worked with her in 'Devdas' and 'Guzaarish', has completely cut down the rumours.
"First it was Sonakshi Sinha, then Madhuri Dixit. Now it's Aishwarya. None of the three rumours has any truth to it," said Bhansali.

Aishwarya remained unavailable for comment, but a source close to her said: "At the moment Aaradhya (Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan's daughter) is Ash's one and only priority.
"Yes, she is slowly looking at scripts again, and some very good ones. But you know what? She gets tempted, and then again she decides now is not the time. She doesn't want to miss out a single moment in Aaradhya's growing-up years."
