Pongal aka Sankranthi is the most favored season for Tollywood, the films hitting the theaters during this season will churn huge income at ticket window, irrespective of hit or flop. Amongst the current heroes, Mahesh Babu has the 100% success during this festive season; his Pongal outings Okkadu, Businessman, Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu have scored big hits to him. Now, the star hero is once again eyeing on Sankranthi season with his next ‘One-Nenokkadine’ that is likely to hit the theaters on January 10th, 2014.
In 2013 Pongal, there was big B.O clash between Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu with Naayak and Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu in the race. However, both of these big tickets were highest grossers at the Box Office. For next year 2014, Allu Arjun is going to replace Ram Charan to fight with Mahesh Babu. The latest update is that Stylish Star Allu Arjun is racing towards Sankranthi season with his upcoming film Race Gurram that is set for Jan 11th release. So, he is going to fight Mahesh at Box-Office next year. Will Bunny put check to Prince in Pongal Race? However, it is a tough task, let’s wait and see. Bunny and Surender Reddy are very confident on the film’s success and they are keen to bounce back, after flops like ‘Iddarammayilatho’ and Oosaravelli. ‘Race Gurram’ is touted to be a racy entertainer with all commercial ingredients in it and there is possibility of scoring big hit at Box-Office.
