At present, Priyamani is busy in two projects in Telugu playing lead roles. One is Angulika which is going on shooting now, the other one is Chandi which launched yesterday in Hyderabad. Along with these two movies she got an offer in Bollywood movie “Chennai Express” starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. She got an offer in this movie as an item number. Earlier the director of the film Rohit Shetty approached Nayantara for this item number but she rejected the offer. Later he talked to Priyamani where he got a green signal from her for doing item song. This could be a golden chance for Priyamani to get noticed on a national level. Earlier Priyamani acted in Raavan and Rakta Charita-2.
